Interactive quizzes with step-by-step feedback

Practice questions that do more than mark an answer right or wrong. Every quiz will show students how to get there.

How our quizzes will work

Matched to the lesson

Each quiz follows a curriculum lesson, so students practise exactly what they just learned.

Feedback on every answer

A wrong answer comes with the steps to the right one, and a right answer shows a quicker way to think about it.

Built for the exams ahead

Questions will include multiple-choice items and longer, scenario-based questions like those in PEP.

No pressure

Students can try again, and we will never publish scores or rank children against each other.

A sample question

This is the kind of question and feedback you can expect. It is a demonstration, not a live quiz.

Mathematics · Measurement

A ribbon is 3 m 50 cm long. Marisa cuts off 1 m 75 cm. How long is the ribbon that is left?

  • A. 1 m 25 cm
  • B. 1 m 75 cm
  • C. 2 m 25 cm
  • D. 5 m 25 cm
Show the answer and steps

Answer: B. 1 m 75 cm.

  1. Change both lengths to centimetres: 3 m 50 cm = 350 cm and 1 m 75 cm = 175 cm.
  2. "Cuts off" means take away: 350 − 175 = 175 cm.
  3. Change back: 175 cm = 1 m 75 cm.

Common slip: choosing D by adding instead of taking away.

What we plan to cover

  • Mathematics and Language Arts first, matching the subjects in the current PEP assessments.
  • Science and Social Studies next.
  • Grade-by-grade practice sets, from Grade 1 up.
  • Quizzes teachers can use in class or set for home.

Tell us what to build first

We're building Caribbean Curriculum Compass with parents, teachers and students, a little at a time. Two minutes of your time helps us decide which grades, subjects and tools come next.
